Horizon

This collaborative LP is the work of two longtime friends and Chicago-based musicians—Will Miller (Resavoir) and Matt Gold. It evolved from their shared admiration for ’60s and ’70s Brazilian music into a lush, dynamic, and immersive ten-track album. Reminiscent of artists like Luiz Bonfá and Milton Nascimento, Horizon exudes spacious mood, warm textures, and gentle rhythmic flow. It was conceived around nylon-string guitar explorations that gradually expanded into richly orchestrated soundscapes featuring strings, woodwinds, gentle percussion, flugelhorn, synths, and more—all crafted over roughly a year in various Chicago-based sessions
