Dance Of Love
Dance of Love marks the 11th studio album by Tucker Zimmerman, a reclusive American-born, Belgium-based singer-songwriter whose career spans over six decades. Released on October 11, 2024, via 4AD, this album is his first to receive an initial release in the United States. The project came to fruition through the encouragement of Big Thief's Adrianne Lenker, who introduced Zimmerman to her bandmate Buck Meek. Impressed by Zimmerman's 1980 album Square Dance, they invited him to join them in a New England cabin to record Dance of Love, with Big Thief, Mat Davidson (Twain), and Zach Burba (Iji) serving as his backing band. Zimmerman's wife, Marie-Claire, also contributed vocals to the album, adding a personal touch to the project.
