Drum Tools + Leod Edit

Brighton producer K-LONE puts a cap on yet another big year with a slick new set of drum workouts for Sweet N Tasty (naturally) entitled Drum Tools. Hand drums, digital kicks, and other auxiliary percussion instruments make up most of the DNA here, but K-LONE expertly shapes these standards into sturdy, standalone tunes with hooks that burrow into your brain anyways. The few extra musical elements that do sneak in (a slide whistle like synth line here, some shouted vocal one shots there) add a little spice, but never interrupt the main course. Leod adds an edit of opener ‘Drumz!’ that maintains this spirit, as well.
