Way Their Crept
Way Their Crept was the first release from my YELLOWELECTRIC label, in November of 2005, and my first album/published record. It was originally released as a handful of handmade CDRs, and later made available by Free Porcupine on CD, and Type on vinyl.
The album is available on vinyl again as of its 20th birthday, November 2025 on Kranky. Original mastering intact. This digital download will include the bonus track "Untitled" formerly only available on the second vinyl edition on Type as of the vinyl release date in November 2025.
Press Quotes for previous Grouper releases:
āThis is ambient music that refuses to simply wash over the listener; itās a riptide dragging you under.ā - The New Yorker
āThe chain reaction these songs generate together produces enough fog and smoke to keep the spell going strongāand to keep whatever secret sheās trying to tell us just on the other side of the speakers.ā - Pitchfork
āEach track sounds, in the best possible way, like it was never meant to be heard outside of the room in which it was recorded.ā - New York Times
