Mysticisms presents its ninth entry in the celebrated Dubplate series with Dub Specialists’ Break To Break, a razor-sharp EP featuring four extended re-edits of 1990s digital dub classics. Crafted by pioneers Dougie (Conscious Sounds) and Chris Petter (Love Grocer), these tracks are transformed for 2025 club ears by the label’s core team—Piers Harrison, Stuart “Chuggy” Leath, Millie McKee, and Matt Bruce (Vanity Project).

What emerges is a seismic fusion of heavy dub basslines and funky breakbeats: energetic floorfillers like “Dub De Funk” and “Funkin Dub,” alongside deeper grooves such as “Movin Ya” and the reggae‑infused “Murderous Style.” These re-edits stretch, loop, and dub the original 1995 LP Dub To Dub Break To Break tracks into raw dancefloor dynamite—ideal for those obsessed with tight drums and steely bass.
