Castillo

Tokyo-based producer (and City-2 St. Giga boss) DJ Trystero makes his debut on Anthony Naples’ Incienso label with his debut LP Castillo. Experimental in sound design and production, Trystero explores ambient, rave, electro, techno, and house across Castillo, but comes at these big genres at weird angles, exposing some of the latent absurdity in such technically precise spheres of electronic music to the right ears. Early single ‘Oriel’ feels like a skeleton key of sorts: a groovy slice of house that seems to gradually spin off axis as its unrelenting kicks pound on. A perfect fit on Incienso, no doubt.
