Only Hinting is the full-length debut by Detroit duo Clinic Stars—Giovanna Lenski and Christian Molik—released on Kranky. Crafted in their home studio over 2022 and 2023, the album intertwines downer-pop balladry with ethereal shoegaze textures. Each track is a layered exploration of longing and introspection, featuring songs like “I Am The Dancer,” “Remain,” and “Isn’t It.” The duo's previous EPs, 10,000 Dreams (2021) and April’s Past (2022), laid the groundwork for this release, which delves deeper into atmospheric soundscapes.
